Today Google Nexus is out there in the market. Well now the question that comes up is- How is the much- talked about Google Phone? This doubt is ought to be asked because Google in the past has always set standards. Google is one brand that more than lives up to people’s expectations. So, is Google’s initial effort in the Hardware segment up to its standards?
To a certain extent yes and to a degree no. Yes on the grounds that Google Nexus is a good phone. And no because after the phone is brought out, folks aren’t ecstatic about it. And why are people not excited about the already celebrated Google Nexus? Perhaps because there is nothing new in the Phone that we didn’t know of. In other sense all the rumors about the phone’s specs were true, and Google devotees didn’t get to see any new detail in the Phone that would leave them awe- struck.
But that won’t make Nexus a bad phone; it’s only that it doesn’t live up to a- Google- product aura. All said, we now have finalized specifications of the phone. And this time it’s not just a mere speculation or some random rumor. It’s the real Google Phone spec:
3. 7 inches AMOLED
1GHz snapdragon processor
512 MB of RAM and ROM
5. megapixel camera
And lastly, the Android work!
Today happens to be the first day of the start, and folks are busy finding out how and what the phone is like. Again, a reminder to every one, Google Phone probably will follow Google wave style- Invite- Only Pattern. So let’s see how things move on to in the coming days, and if people accept Google Phone as they do other phones or get too cruel and criticize about it for being a Google product. Well, only time and Google users can tell this. So let us wait and watch.
